Full Time
New Seneca Village

Location: Remote
Reporting To: Co-Executive Director (On Mission)
Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000
Start Date: January 2026

About New Seneca Village: New Seneca Village is a restorative residency experience that invites leaders and healers to access expansive resources (time, space, access to nature, restorative practices, intentional community and higher consciousness) for the sake of nourishing and sustaining their collective visioning for a just future.

New Seneca Village is a fiscally sponsored project of Possibility Labs.

About Possibility Labs (PL). Possibility Labs’ mission is to accelerate and empower community-driven solutions that are built, led, and governed by and for low-income and BIPOC communities, by providing the essential financial and legal infrastructure to manage and move integrated capital to BIPOC-led movement groups. We aim to advance racial, gender, and climate justice and a new economy where everyone thrives.

About the Opportunity: Reporting to the Co-Executive Director (On Mission), the Residency Ecosystem Director is the operational and relational heart of the Village's core offering. This leader ensures the seamless and profound execution of restorative residency experiences and nurtures the ongoing post-residency ecosystem, enabling leaders and healers to access restoration, build intentional community, and sustain their vision for a just future.

KEY PRIORITIES DURING YOUR FIRST YEAR

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Lead the Planning & Execution of Residencies

  • Develop and manage the end-to-end work plan for all residencies—translating the Village’s restorative vision into detailed operational plans, timelines, and logistics.
  • Ensure seamless, restorative experiences for Villagers by cultivating relationships and coordinating vendor partnerships, venue logistics, and the facilitation of gatherings with care and precision.
  • Leverage data and feedback to evaluate impact, inform decisions on recruitment and budgeting, and enhance program design and engagement strategies.
  • Manage all clear, timely, and resonant communications for Villager audiences, from the first point of contact through their lifelong journey as alum.

Co-Facilitate Residency Experiences & Circles

  • Co-facilitate residency sessions with a focus on space-holding and deep listening, guiding processes that allow Villagers' own wisdom and intentions for restoration to emerge.
  • Integrate ongoing learning from Villager feedback, facilitator reflections, and shifts in the external climate to iterate on the program and Villager experience.

Steward Ongoing Villager Engagement

  • Serve as the primary relational hub for Villagers, building authentic connections that foster a lifelong sense of belonging and actively encourage 'energetic exchange' within the network.
  • Design and facilitate post-residency offerings (e.g., circles, "Gather Together") that are responsive to Villagers' needs and deepen the impact of their initial experience.
  • Keep a pulse on Villager experiences and emerging themes, surfacing stories and insights that inform the Village’s evolving offerings and connect the lived experiences of Villagers to the broader Legacy Vision.
WHO YOU ARE:
  • You Believe in New Seneca Village’s Mission to provide restorative residency experiences that invite leaders and healers to access expansive resources—time, space, nature, community, and consciousness—to sustain their collective visioning for a just future. You prioritize your own restoration and model the practices you facilitate.
  • You Are a Strategic Operator Who Bridges Vision and Execution. You move seamlessly between the “why” and the “how,” translating the Village’s high-level intentions into detailed, backward-planned systems and logistics. You manage complex projects with calm clarity, ensuring every detail—from agendas to travel—embodies the Village’s values and care for community.
  • You Facilitate Experiences from a Restorative and Healing-Centered Lens. You create spaces that honor multiple truths and  center marginalized voices. You hold boundaries with clarity and compassion, attend to power and identity dynamics, and guide groups toward deeper connection, understanding, and restoration.
  • You Learn, Adapt, and Evolve Through Data and Reflection. You use data and feedback not just for reporting, but for learning and strategy. You translate data into action by identifying patterns and making recommendations that lead to more effective and resonant programs and community engagement.
  • You are Detailed-Oriented. You translate strategy into execution through clear systems, consistent communication, and reliable follow-through—building trust across the Village through operational excellence and care.
  • You Build Community with Intention & Care. You foster genuine, lasting connections. You don't just manage a program; you nurture a living community. You think proactively about how to activate the Villager network, design for meaningful engagement, and inspire the "energetic exchange" that defines the New Seneca Village ecosystem.
  • You Co-Create with Vision and Drive. You are a confident and trusted partner—able to align with a shared vision while moving work forward independently. You bring ideas and perspective that strengthen co-leadership, shared ownership, and alignment with the Village’s mission and long-term vision.
  • You Center Restorative Leadership. You lead from a place of personal restoration and integrity. You understand the role of somatic and embodied practices in healing and community-building, and you are curious about integrating offerings and intimate touches to deepen the residency experience.
  • You Are a Strategic Storyteller and Communicator. You use communication as a tool for connection, clarity, and collective purpose. You adapt your message across audiences; crafting messages that honor lived experience, foster connection, and strengthen alignment around the Village’s mission and values.
